Classes in French and Japanese Languages and Cultures can be arranged in 6-12 week blocks for children aged 4-11, and are delivered during the school day or after school in one-hour sessions.

Whilst the younger children’s learning is focused on maximal acquisition of vocabulary in many different topics and largely based on games, songs and similar activities, for older students the emphasis is more towards drawing links between different grammatical topics and vocabulary themes, allowing them to build their knowledge and capability with each session.

The sequence of topics introduced to children of all ages is such that they can be taught to arrange more phrases and sentences with the knowledge they gain each week. The more advanced students are encouraged to link and structure their own ideas by focusing in more detail on certain topics rather than in less depth on a wider variety of topics.
